confirmation for teens

• Age: For teens who are enrolled in 9th - 11th grade.
• Catechesis Sessions: Teens will attend Catechesis Sessions twice a month. Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7:30pm.
• Mass Attendance: Families are required to attend Sunday Mass at St. Pancratius Church each week. You may choose the Mass time that best fits your schedule. Weekly check-in is required to verify attendance.
• Nights of Prayer: Teens and parents are required to attend the 2 Nights of Prayer that will be held during the Advent and Lenten Seasons.
• Homework: Periodic  assignments may be given to reinforce each session's learning.
• Service Project(s): Teens will be expected to participate in service opportunities as part of their preparation for Confirmation.
• Program Length: This is a 2-year process.

RETREAT

Retreats are an essential part of the Confirmation journey, offering teens time to step away from their daily routines and encounter Christ in a deeper, more personal way. Participation in the retreat experience is mandatory for both Year 1 and Year 2 teens.

• Year 1 teens will attend a day retreat on parish campus.
• Year 2 teens will attend a weekend retreat (Friday evening - Sunday afternoon) at an off-campus location.

ABSENCES

We understand that sometimes circumstances prevent attendance. Teens may miss up to 3 (three) sessions per year. Missed lessons must still be completed at home and turned in online to stay on track.

PAYMENT

Year 1 Registration: $150

• A $40 non-refundable deposit per teen is required to secure your teen's place in the program.
• The remaining balance is due by September 27, 2026. 
• Payment plans are available upon request. 
• Discounted rates are available for families with three or more children enrolled in First Communion and/or Confirmation. 

Year 2 Registration: $350 (Includes Weekend Retreat)

• A $40 non-refundable deposit per teen is required to secure your teen's place in the program.
• The remaining registration balance is due by January 17, 2027. 
• Payment plans are available upon request. 
• Discounted rates are available for families with three or more children enrolled in First Communion and/or Confirmation. 

OTHER

At the time of completing the online registration form, you will need to upload a scan/photo of the baptism and first communion certificates.  If the teen is not baptized, we will need a scan/photo of the birth certificate. Please have those documents ready.
